Ever committed to expanding his knowledge, he's currently earning his MCI Master Technician certification, bringing the latest innovation and reliability to every bus he services.

Our Story
Compass Coach formed in 2000 when owner Trenton Stange started offering his motor coach as a service to those seeking group transportation. Today, Compass Coach has grown to a fleet of over 30 vehicles from two garages, one in Mt Pleasant and the other in Cedar Springs, MI (Just north of Grand Rapids). We have 52 wonderful employees that make up the backbone of this locally owned company.
Compass Coach proudly accommodates groups of all types and sizes for their charter bus rentals. We offer transportation services to those traveling to resorts and casinos, family reunions, wedding and church groups, concert and athletic teams, fans and sporting events, entertainers and bands, corporate events, travel and conventions, colleges, universities and school districts shuttles, military, special events, airport shuttles, tour operators and much more.

Compass Coach is proud to be the official transportation provider of the Grand Rapids Griffins Hockey, Central Michigan University (Fire UP CHIPS), Muskegon Community College, Cornerstone University, Grand Rapids Community College and just recently Northwood University plus many, many schools and churches in Central and West Michigan.

Safety and Professionalism is job one! We don’t just want to deliver your group to its destination, we want to ensure everyone arrives satisfied with the service we provided your group. This is why we provide extensive driver training and vehicle cleaning and maintenance. We strive to greet, treat and handle every passenger like you would a member of your own family.
All of our charter buses are fully equipped with amenities that matter most. Audio-video entertainment systems, Wi-Fi internet access, air conditioning, spacious and comfortable seats, restrooms, overhead storage and a plush air ride suspension for maximum comfort.
